"At the Limit"
Suzuka 1993

For Wayne Rainey, this would be his most memorable race.
Although the new Team Roberts Yamaha YZR500 suffered from an ill handling chassis,
Wayne, pushing his Dunlop tires to the edge, was able to slide the bike at will, steering it with the rear wheel.
"I could slide it where I wanted to.  I was having so much fun."
Winning from Kevin Schwantz by less than a tenth of a second, it would be the last close finish of the Rainey-Schwantz rivalry.
A limited edition of 200 giclee prints.  22 x 28 (image w/border 19 x 24)  Hand Signed by Wayne Rainey.   $350 + $15 s/h

After an eleven year hiatus, grand prix motorcycle road racing returned to the USA and Laguna Seca.
"Chasin' a dream of becoming World Champion, American Nicky Hayden dominated the weekend.
Qualifying in pole position and then leading the race from flag-to-flag, Nicky scored his maiden GP victory.
A hugely popular and emotional win, it would begin the final march in the realization of a life long quest which
Nicky would achieve by becoming World Champion the following year.

 Catalunya 2007

In the first year of the 800cc format, Casey Stoner and his Ducati Desmosedici, were indeed a Red Storm.
Winning ten of eighteen races, the 22 year old Australian secured a first MotoGP Championship for himself and Ducati.
In a season that saw few 'elbow to elbow', late race battles for victory, Catalunya was exceptional.
Here, the best straight up fight of the year between Casey and his main rival, Valentino Rossi, would see the two
contest the race in spectacular fashion.  Unlike many before him, Casey shrugged off Valentino's famous late race pressure
to win by 0.069 seconds.  In Rossi's words, "he rode like a God."
